Scientific founders Dr. Joel Dudley and Dr. Chris Mason, pioneers in AI-based diagnostics and well-known researchers in their fields, created Onegevity to empower people and to address problems that have yet to be solved by traditional medicine.
Onegevity's dedication to uncovering the mysteries of the gut is as much a personal pursuit as it is an intellectual one.
Dr. Dudley has suffered from Crohn's disease and his wife has struggled with IBS, while Dr. Mason's family members have suffered from GI issues. Their experience with gut related issues gives Onegevity an added sense of mission.

Dr. Joel Dudley is an Associate Professor of Genetics and Genomic Sciences and founding Director of the Institute for Next Generation Healthcare at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. His work is focused at the nexus of -omics, digital health, artificial intelligence (AI), scientific wellness, and healthcare delivery. His work has been featured in the Wall Street Journal, Scientific American, MIT Technology Review, CNBC, and other popular media outlets. He was named in 2014 as one of the 100 most creative people in business by Fast Company.
Dr. Chris Mason is an Associate Professor of Physiology and Biophysics at Weill Cornell Medicine, where he is also Director of the WorldQuant Initiative for Quantitative Prediction and Precision Metagenomics. His work has pioneered new biochemical and computational methods in next-generation sequencing, DNA and RNA modifications, metagenomics, and integrated multi-omic models for NASA astronauts. He was named a “Brilliant Ten” Scientist by Popular Science, called “The Genius of Genetics” by 92Y, and featured as a TEDMED and WORLD.MINDS speaker. He has also won the NIH’s Transformative R01 Award, the Pershing Square Sohn Cancer Research Alliance Award, the Vallee Scholar Award, and the CDC Honor Award for Standardization of Clinical Testing.” .
